Welcome This sight is dedicated to telling people a little about one of the greatest animation studios in the world. Studio Ghibli. Though the studio is well knon over seas there are few in America that have heard of it or of the many things they have done. And in America it is still looked upon that animation is only for children or that if it is for 'Adults' it must be somthing to censor and remove as Unsutable for any child. This however is not true. Adult content can mean movies like Shindler's List or Beautiful Mind. No sexual situations, just things that may be beyond the aprihinsion of most children (and quite a few Adults to).
But I digress. This studio has put into animation many things that touch the hearts and minds of all ages and peoples. From Grave of the Fireflies, a story following two childrens fight to live without thier parents durring World War II in Japan to My Neighbor Totoro that follows the adventures of two young girls that move into a new home in order to be closer to thier mother whom is sick in the hospital.
Now, how do you say the name and what does it mean. The name Ghibli is pronounced . But as to what it means you'll have to go to the Founding link in order to learn that and much more.
